General Dynamics announced today the appointment of Ashley Dove to the post of Director, Regional Sales and Strategy, Europe & Sub-Saharan Africa for its SATCOM Technologies business.

Dove's responsibilities include leading the SATCOM Technologies' Europe/Africa Sales team to increase sales and market share in his region. He will report directly to Tom Goebelbecker, Director of International Sales and Strategy for SATCOM Technologies.

In making the announcement, Goebelbecker said, "Ashley has more than 30 years' experience in the Microwave and RF communications industry and joins us after a long and successful career with Vislink Communications Systems, serving most recently as their Vice President of Solutions. Ashley Dove has extensive experience in providing wireless technology solutions including SATCOM, microwave and cellular communications to the commercial broadcast and defense security and surveillance markets. We also expect to benefit from Ashley's experience with communications technologies outside the field of SATCOM to help increase sales in the region for the broader portfolio of General Dynamics' C4ISR products and services."
