General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies is adding a variety of RF Electronic products and select mobile antennas to its expanding Ready-to-Go (RTG) product lineup.

The Company's RTG program offers customers popular SATCOM Technologies standard products with guaranteed "On-the-Shelf" shipping within 30-days after order acceptance.

New to the RTG line-up are a number of the company's RF Electronic Products including ModuMAX and QuadMod Amplifiers, Redundant System Controllers, Low Noise Amplifiers and Redundant LNB Systems in C and Ku Bands. Also introduced to the RTG program is the Model C140M Mobile Antenna, a lightweight, compact antenna designed for worldwide transmission and reception in Ku-band.

Crissy Pierson, Business Area Manager for SATCOM Technologies' RF Electronic Products, said, "Our ModuMAX and QuadMod Solid State Power Amplifiers are industry standards for high reliability and ease-of-use. Each features redundant and hot-swappable components resulting in greater product life, lower maintenance and ease of operations. We have 19 SSPA models available as RTG products in C and Ku-Bands and each comes with a limited time offer of an extended warranty for an additional two years - a five-year total warranty for all units sold through June 30, 2015."

"In addition, we're adding Redundant System Controllers, Low Noise Amplifiers, and Redundant LNB Systems to the RTG product line," Pierson said. "The Ready-to-Go Redundant System Controllers are an innovative way to minimize system downtime. The new models include an Ethernet interface that supports an embedded web server with SSL capability. The controllers also feature network monitoring via SNMPv1 and SNMPv3, an encrypted communication protocol."

SATCOM Technologies' Model C140M Mobile Ku-Band Antenna is comprised of a single-piece, carbon-fiber, composite reflector mounted on a cable drive elevation over azimuth positioner. The novel design provides a light-weight antenna with superior stiffness and high performance under wind loading conditions. In addition, the antenna features exceptionally low sidelobe and cross polarization performance that are well within Intelsat and Eutelsat requirements.

Kim Scott, Business Area Manager for SATCOM Technologies Tactical Terminals, said, "The C140M mobile antenna can be attached to most lightweight vehicles for fast and efficient mobile satellite newsgathering applications. A high wind version is also available that can sustain performance in Ku-band with wind velocities up to 80 miles per hour."
