General Dynamics' new program for producing and delivering select SATCOM standard products within 30-days of an accepted order is meeting with overwhelming success since its introduction in January.

Mike Guzelian, General Dynamics' Vice President of SATCOM and Broadband Products, said, "Last year we held extensive briefings with our customers to learn first-hand what they needed most from us. The number one item on the list was a streamlined process to get our most reliable, field-tested and, in many cases, type-approved products delivered within 30-days of an accepted order."

"In response, we launched our SATCOM Products Ready-to-Go, or RTG, program. Throughout the year, we designated more than 45 products as RTG for fast, 'on-the-shelf,' delivery," Guzelian added.

Included in the Company's RTG standard product offerings are popular fixed and mobile antennas and control systems in C through Ku-Bands, a wide variety of VSAT antennas and their mounts also in C through Ku-Bands and selected RF electronic products including Low Noise Amplifiers, Redundant LNB Systems, Redundant System Controllers and Solid State Power Amplifiers.

"Only General Dynamics offers a true, 'one-stop shop' experience for satellite communications customers," Guzelian said. "The Company is unique in the market due to the depth and breadth of its product and system capabilities. Our SATCOM product line offers the full spectrum of antennas, terminals and RF electronics to support global commercial or government SATCOM systems from economical transmit and receive capabilities all the way up to the most complex Earth station or deep-space radio telescope."
