General Dynamics' SATCOM Technologies is packaging a variety of its popular, standard SATCOM products with "On The Shelf" delivery.

The new program, called Products Ready-to-Go (RTG) is in response to customer input and guarantees 30-day delivery after receipt of an order.

Michael Guzelian, Vice President of SATCOM and Broadband Products, said, "Over the past year SATCOM Technologies held extensive briefings with our customers to learn what they needed most from us."

"Tops on their list were streamlined production and delivery processes to get our most reliable, field-tested or type-approved products delivered within 30-days of an order. As a result, we are rolling out our Products, Ready-to-Go or RTG program."

SATCOM Technologies' RTG products will include fixed antennas and control systems in C through Ku-Bands; VSAT antennas and their mounts also in C through Ku-Bands and select electronic products including Low Noise Amplifiers and Solid State Power Amplifiers.

"SATCOM Technologies will release further details as products are added to our RTG program," Guzelian said.

Innovative CustomerCare
"In addition to our new RTG product offerings, SATCOM Technologies has revised its CustomerCare program also in response to customer demand," Guzelian added.

"Our new CustomerCare program is based on two key communications principles that our customers rated most important:

  • Initiate a timely response to questions and issues, and
  • Establish improved, and sustained communications until all issues are resolved

"We streamlined our CustomerCare decision-making process to provide quick answers and solutions to customer questions or problems; and we revised our internal CustomerCare processes to maintain direct communication with our customers while any trouble ticket is open."

"In addition, we enhanced our Help Desk to serve as a primary information portal to help our customers navigate our organization to get the help they need."
